Trilobites are extinct marine arthropods that dominated the shallow seas of the Paleozoic era. They became extinct in a global disaster Penn Dixie visitors find several types of trilobites: Eldredgeops (abundant), Greenops (uncommon), Bellacartrightia (rare), Pseudechenella (rare), Dipleura (very rare), and others.
