By Joe ‘PaleoJoe’ Kchodl, Paleontologist, from Midland, MI

This program presents these fine Paleozoic creatures in a way that tells a story of the prehistoric life in the ancient seas. Western New York was a warm shallow tropical sea alive with these creatures that have long been extinct. See and hear about the life and death of the Trilobites once so plentiful during the Cambrian period that it was called the Age of Trilobites. It provides a unique snapshot of life in the ancient seas from 250 to 500 million years ago.

An illustrated presentation with specimens, in the auditorium of the Gateway Executive Office Building, 3556 Lake Shore Rd. Blasdell, NY. $5/person, Penn Dixie Members: FREE. No preregistrations required.
