Teens talk to local scientists over hands on activities and food about their interests such as climate change, genetics, environmental conservation, emergency response, etc.
What does it take to plan a Teen Science Cafe?
At Teen Leadership Training, Teens will learn how to connect with local scientists, seek out mentors, and explore their interests, through designing hands on activities.
Who comes to Teen Science Cafe?
At Teen Leadership Training, Teens will conduct a Social Identity Mapping workshop and learn about the diverse motivations and experiences that bring people to science.
Do I have to lead Teen Science Cafes if I go to Teen Leadership Training?
Nope! We hope you find the skills and conversations from the training will be interesting and helpful, whether or not you become a regular at Teen Science Cafe.
