A Thin Crescent Moon and Saturn
Saturday September 23, 6:45 to 9:30 pm
Join us for stargazing on a cool fall evening! We’ll watch the sunset at 7:10 and then focus on the thin crescent moon. Jupiter will bright as always until it sets at 8:31, but Saturn will be with us the entire evening. Once twilight arrives, we’ll bid farewell to the summer constellations and take a closer look at some deep space objects, including M31 Andromeda Galaxy and NGC457 ET Cluster. Admission is $4 or FREE for Penn Dixie members. No registration needed.
