With four different camps, children discover the natural sciences through hands-on activities, outdoor investigations, and team building projects. Dinosaurs, Fossils, and Nature
Science comes alive at three exciting sites right in your own neighborhood! The first stop is Penn Dixie on Monday and Tuesday where campers will explore paleontology, geology and will be collecting their own 380 million year old fossils. On Wednesday they venture off to Past & Present to discover the mysteries of the dinosaurs! The week will end at Evangola State Park on Thursday and Friday where campers can explore wetlands, fishing, skulls and more! Registration required.

Come experience a summer day camp like never before! Campers will start their expedition at Reinstein Woods on Monday where they will investigate insects and plants and learn important wilderness survival skills. The next stop is Evangola State Park on Tuesday and Wednesday where campers will visit wetlands, examine skulls, go fishing and more. Join us for an all-new summer camp experience! Penn Dixie and The Buffalo Zoo have teamed up to offer a wild week-long experience at two unique science and nature organizations. Campers will visit Penn Dixie on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to learn about the scientific method, making observations, collecting field data, and the ancient ocean inhabitants that lived here 380 million years ago. It’s off to The Zoo on Thursday and Friday where campers will have the opportunity to apply the scientific method to study — up close and in person — the living inhabitants of modern ecosystems. Throughout the week, campers will explore paleontology, geology, astronomy, ecology and rocketry. Some of the projects will include building and launching your own rocket, creating a fossil and mineral collection, making erupting volcanoes and casting animal tracks. We offer extended care from 8:30am to 5pm for $15 per day for this camp only. Registration required.
